Haunted House

“Why did no one come with us to show us the house?”

“They are busy and gave me the key.”

“Everyone says that this house is haunted; that’s why they are selling it so cheap.”

“There is no such thing as a ghost. Let’s not argue; I like this house and I have already decided to buy it.”

“You will regret your decision.”

“We will see. Come, let us have a look,” he unlocked the main door.

He, wife and two kids went around the house. Kids loved everything about the house.

“This is a beautiful house and I am going to buy it,” he said as they were coming out of the house.

He closed the door; he was locking it when he heard someone inside the house say, “I wish he doesn’t change his mind. We have been so lonely in this place. They are decent people, don’t you think so? I won’t mind sharing this place with them.”

His hands begun to tremble but he managed to lock the door.

Later he surprised his wife when he said, “We can explore other options, if you insist.”

  4. Sounds like a friendly, welcoming house. This could definitely be expanded in so many ways! Maybe a happy story about a haunted house, for a change!
