Lollipop

“Lollipop.”
That’s what they called him; and he hated each one of them for that. He had also given names to them; and each name was as nasty as it could be. But he could only fret for he was too timid to call them by those names.
He happened to be nearby when their car dived into the lake. He jumped without thinking; lake was not deep and he was a good swimmer.
“Lollipop.”
But the word was said with admiration. He smiled and called back, “Croakroach.”
Everyone including Croakroach laughed, they thought it was cool.
